Teacher Shaarmila is an educator who embodies passion, organization, adaptability, and flexibility in her teaching approach. Her enthusiasm for learning is infectious, inspiring her students to develop a genuine love
for knowledge. With meticulous planning and structured lesson plans, she ensures a seamless and productive learning experience, catering to the diverse needs of her classroom.
Teacher Shaarmila’s adaptability shines through as she skillfully navigates various teaching methods and technologies, continuously evolving her strategies to meet the ever-changing educational landscape. Her flexibility allows her to adjust her teaching style to accommodate her students’ unique learning paces and styles, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every student thrives.
Ms. Shaarmila began her teaching career in 2015 as a cover teacher, moving on to teach in a language center where she taught pre-kindergarten to IELTS. She is currently teaching both the local syllabus and the Cambridge syllabus in an international school. She is a firm believer in ‘lifelong learning’ where (teaching) and learning can take place anytime, anywhere.

With over 20 years of experience in early years and primary education, Teacher Stephanie is an experienced teacher passionate about holistic development in children. Her understanding of early child development and curriculum formulation has aided her in managing classrooms, preparing learning materials, developing curricula, and monitoring student progress.
Teacher Stephanie inspires children to learn by creating an engaging and stimulating classroom environment and contributing to updating work schemes while sharing resources with colleagues. She is skilled in assessing, recording, and reporting student progress and maintaining cooperative relationships with parents to communicate their children’s learning and progress. Teacher Stephanie’s teaching goals include organizing and coordinating events, setting up topic areas for Enquiry Based Learning, and leading Outdoor Learning Projects.
She also regularly evaluates and reviews her teaching methods and keeps up-to-date with new developments in the subject and current educational thinking and practice. Holistic education has had a significant impact on Teacher Stephanie’s teaching as it allows her to approach education as a whole-person experience, nurturing students’ intellectual, emotional, and social well-being.
